SCHOOL IS IN - RECESS-FOOTBALL

RECESS - Finally! ! ! Football time! Lexy and Zeus.
First I will explain the dogs are wearing muzzles not as for protection when the game becomes rough, but to 'protect' the ball. We used to call this doggy soccer, but it became costly replacing soccer balls halfway through a game. Hmm. Now they use the muzzles and a basketball. The dogs use their heads and feet to toss the ball, shoulders to block and control. You would be amazed how well they can control the ball at high speed.

The muzzles we are using are leather, custom made for each dog and padded. They have good breathing space as there is no restriction of their muzzle...other than they can't grasp the ball.
